Page 1 Children in Little Lamb Christian Preschool learn basic skills in literacy, "big motor" usage, and cooperation with other children, all within a Christian context. Designed to prepare children for kindergarten, the preschool utilizes timeless Bible stories, field trips, and more. The preschool is open to all children who may benefit from the program, regardless
of race, nationality or religious affiliation.
You may enroll your child for two, three or four days a week. All sessions begin at 8:30 am and end at 11:00 am. The normal school year begins in September and runs through May. We follow the Cascade School District's calendar year
for scheduled days off and for cancellations due to inclement weather.
The preschool is staffed by our director, Melissa Braun, and her teaching assistant, Christi Morley. They are both well
qualified and love small children.
Little Lamb Christian Preschool is a ministry of Turner Christian Church. It operates under the oversight of a preschool
board, which is chaired by our Minister of Christian Education, Marcia Carter. For a copy of the preschool handbook

Teacher Christi
Melissa Braun has served in the Little Lamb Christian Preschool since 2006. She is a graduate of Chemeketa Community College. Melissa attended Fresno State University in 1998, where she took classes in the Childhood Education Program and taught P.E. at a local elementary school. Melissa is an active member of Turner Christian Church, where she works in the church nursery and helps out with the Treasure Seekers program. She is married and the proud mother of two boys. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, camping, exercising, traveling and volunteer work.
Melissa says, "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to inspire a love of learning in the beginning stages of the children's education. I hope to help each child be ready to start kindergarten and am excited to see their potential blossom."
Christi Morley graduated from Hope International University in Fullerton, CA, with a teaching degree in elementary education. She taught 4th and 5th grade for four years in Anaheim, CA. She has been a member of Turner Christian Church since 2004, along with her husband Seth, who is the Minister of Family Life. They have two young children.
Christi says, "I'm so grateful that God has given me the opportunity to work at Little Lamb Christian Preschool. I am looking forward to seeing each and every child improve in their knowledge of letters, numbers and the depth of God's love. I'm so excited about all the fun we will have this year."
