Friendship Banquet
To celebrate love and friendship around Valentine's day, Turner Christian Church hosts a meal so everyone can enjoy fellowship, fun, and food. No dates needed! Come just as you are.
Maundy Thursday
We remember the institution of the Lord's Supper on the Thursday before Easter. Join us as we break bread together in this special time of inspiration.
Easter-Egg Hunt
On the Saturday before Easter, Turner Christian Church puts on a giant Easter-egg hunt for the town of Turner and surrounding communities. This Easter-egg hunt is for all kids ages zero through fifth grade, it includes a short lesson about the real meaning of Easter, plus plenty of snacks and candy!
Mother's Day Tea
In the month of May Turner Christian Church hosts a Tea for any daughter who has a mother and any mother who has a daughter. Please call (503) 743-2119 or email info@turnerchristianchurch.com for details.
Oregon Christian Convention
Right next door to Turner Christian Church is the Oregon Christian Convention. Originally a preaching convention, it has expanded to include a children's program, youth program (meets at TCC), and workshops for the adults. OCC always starts on last Tuesday in June and continues until the following Sunday. Visit www.occonline.com for more information.
Vacation Bible School
There is fun for all ages from the little ones to adults at Vacation Bible School. Each year utilizes a different theme, but the whole week is about having fun and learning about Jesus. There will be music, classes, games, crafts, and food! We meet in the evenings so everyone can attend! Look for VBS in August.
Trunk-Or-Treat
Come join us on Halloween for a safe alternative to the traditional trick-or-treating. Bring your kids to Turner Christian Church and they can trick or treat from decorated car trunk to car trunk. Then, come inside for a harvest party and play games in the fellowship hall, eat snacks, and listen to a devotional thought.
Christmas Eve Candle Light Service
Every Christmas Eve we gather together to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. This special service combines worship through song, a message, scripture reading, and communion.
