Family Newsletter #5
Family Ministry Newsletter Easter in Exile is down in the history books!! We pray that it was a day of celebration for you and yours. In this time of darkness more than ever before we need to be the light. Through our hope and faith in the resurrection, What can we do to provide, share and grow that faith in someone else specifically in a time where we are in' Exile'. Here are some suggestions:
-Send a card to a shut in.
Sometimes the smallest of gestures make a lasting impression on the heart of the recipient.
- Encourage Someone
As Christians we are called to be Christ like in spirit, By Building each other up . Providing true non judgmental feedback and advice. We could be such a blessing to someone in needed
-Make Goals (for this time of lock down)
Pick a number of goals to set, then set those goals. Share those goals if you would like (with someone who you know will pray for you and encourage you) Read those Goals daily.
Journal – There is power in reflecting and being able to look back and see that you did get through that. Make note of scripture or other things or ways that you felt lead to your persistence and meeting your goals. Etc
Even in this time of uncertainty , We remain a body of Christ seeking ways to serve and honor our lord and savior. If you need that connection there are ways to do accomplish that: Mom's Connect Daily Devotionals every afternoon M-Sa Mom's and Coffee Saturday @ 9am Via a Zoom call Wednesday Night Small Groups @ 7PM Via a Zoom call/Treasure Seekers K-5th @ 6Pm If you would like information on how to be a part of any of these groups please feel free to reach out to the Family Ministry Coordinator: (Jill@Turnerchristianchurch.com) or The Church office ( office@Turnerchristianchurch.com) A building doesn't make us a Church; our hearts do!!!! and our hearts are ready to serve. PS. Kiddos going back to 'school' this week virtually, Please know that we are Praying for them and your families. As well as all the Teachers! This week we thought it would be fun to create a time capsule. As we reflect and store away the memories we are also able to talk about other ways we can serve/ help others during this time in this unique season.
