The church's Food Bank is open each Monday between the hours of 9:00 am and 11:30 am. We operate in partnership with the Marion-Polk Food Share and other community groups which provide many of the commodities that we distribute. Members of the church also regularly donate a variety of food items.
The food bank does not distribute clothing, furniture, or household items, and is closed on holidays. For more information, call the church office, (503) 743-2119.
Recipients of items from our Food Bank do not need to attend our church.

Food Donations
We are currently taking donations at three places
- The Turner Food Bank during normal operating hours on Mondays from 9:00 am - 11:30 am
- Turner Christian Church during normal hours on Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Turner Elementary School while school is in session- this location is preferred for people who have students attending the school
Monetary Donations
The Turner Christian Church Food Bank receives food from Marion Polk County Food Share. Under normal conditions, these supplies are generally sufficient to cover our food needs, and monetary donations to the food bank is used to purchase, repair, or upgrade equipment.
If and when there is a need for additional food supplies, these funds are used to purchase food.
Donations to the TCC Food Bank are tax-deductible.

How to make a monetary donation
Online Donations (via credit or debit card)
By Check:
- Use the giving portal on this page.
- Enter the amount you wish to donate.
- Under "fund," select "Food Bank." (All donations to this fund go directly to the Food Bank.)
- Choose "one time" (unless you want to make a recurring gift)
- Click continue
By Check:
- Checks for the Food Bank should be must be made out to Turner Christian Church.
- Write "Food Bank" in the memo line to designate the donation for the food bank.
- Mail the check to Turner Christian Church (7871 Marion Rd SE, Turner OR 97392) or drop it off at the church office (Open M-F, 8am-2pm)
