Friends of the Food Bank

The Turner Christian Church Food Bank is inviting local organizations—including businesses, churches, schools, etc.—to join us in an initiative called “Friends of the Food Bank.” The goal of this initiative is to show our clients a story they don’t often see: that they have a lot of neighbors who are ready and willing to help support them in times of need.

This is not a fundraising campaign or a volunteer recruitment drive. Becoming a “Friend of the Food Bank” simply means your organization is willing to be publicly listed (either by name or anonymously) as a supporter of our food bank and receive occasional emails when special needs arise (such as food shortages or seasonal outreach efforts). There is no obligation to give or act—just a visible sign to our clients that they are not alone, and that their local community cares. On the back of this page is a mock-up of how we would list our partners, both named and anonymous.

We believe that when people see the number of familiar organizations standing with them, it fosters hope and belonging. Your presence on this list would be a powerful gesture of solidarity.

To sign up as a friend of the food bank, please fill out the registration form. You can request a paper or digital copy from our office, or you can fill out the form below.

Thank you for considering this invitation. Together, we can show our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and supported.

Publicity Questions

Part of our goal with this initiative is to be able to show people, through posters, our website, and possibly social media, that there is local support for the food bank. Partners can be named or included anonymously in our total number of partners.

If you agreed to be publicized:

If you answered yes, we will follow up about getting the logo from you.
