Sunday Service: Unloading the Question

Why does God allow suffering? This may be the most challenging question for people of faith. When we turn to Job, however, we find little hope: Job suffered, apparently, because God made a bet with Satan. That certainly doesn't make God look just. But what if we are asking the wrong question? What if God doesn't "allow" suffering? What if everything God does in this story is about Job, not Satan? What if God is doing good for Job?
